Will
your helm chair prove it has the metal to go the distance?
A helm chair manufactured by Nautical Design will!
|
 |
|
|
The
manufacturing of a helm chair
consists of many skilled hours of labor and material.
Helm chairs
main compenent is it's metal work.
There are three main metals used: aluminum, chrome on bronze and stainless
steel. Our helm chair uses 316 grade stainless steel.
Unlike other helm chair manufacturers
we do not substitute any critical
parts of the helm chair such as bearing spindles, lockdown
collars, footrest legs with aluminum. We do NOT offer
mid-range or compact helm chairs with chromed components.
|
A Helm Chair should provide both
comfort and function.
Our helm chairs provide a wide variety
of options, many not offered in our competitors helm
chairs. Contoured helm chair cushions are constructed
of multi-layered foams with a multiple position backrest.
Our traditional helm chairs offer folding
arms for easy access in tight bridge configurations,
helm chair slides that don't rock or rattle, and a wide
selection of pedestals and footrests.
Call us to design a helm
chair to your specific needs.

|
From our smallest helm chair through our
largest marlin series fighting chairs, all components are stainless.
Our helm chair is manufactured "in house",
with our labor and raw materials. The cost to other manufacturers
of helm chairs causes most to turn to imported foreign parts. As
a result, quality control, production and purity of metal are compromised.
Nautical Design will not compromise quality.
Let
our helm chair prove it's metal for you!
End usage or application
is that of the cutomer's intent, be that marine, industrial,
commercial or residental.
